The Washington County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Charles Lawrence with two counts of first degree child molestation and eight counts of second degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on multiple dates between September 30, 2009 and November 1, 2009, and between December 1, 2009 and February 1, 2010, Lawrence molested a child under the age of fourteen, with the molestation being in the first and second degree.
The alleged molestation took place in Charlestown. The Charlestown Police conducted the investigation. Bail was set at $30,000 with surety and a no contact order with the victim was issued. Lawrence is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on July 30, 2012.
