At 8:40 am Trooper S. Brown arrested Christina Monk, age 29 of 25 Riverside Drive, Johnston on a 2nd District Court warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on a domestic simple assault charge out of the Portsmouth Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of North Smithfield. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and was transported to 6th District Court.
At 9:50 am Troopers arrested Richard Ashness, age 44, of 22 Barbara Street, Providence, RI for 1) Providence Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Cost Review on a Driving Without Consent of Owner charge out of the Providence Police Department 2) 3rd District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a Shoplifting charge out of the North Providence Police Department 3) 6th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a Suspended License charge out of the RISP Scituate Barracks. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. Ashness was transported to Headquarters for processing, and was transported to Providence Superior Court.
At 10:27 am Troopers arrested Jared Villar, age: 18 of 191 Reynolds Avenue, Providence for 1. Driving with a suspended license; 2. 6th District Court warrant for failure to appear for arraignment for driving with a suspended license originally charged by the RI State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks and 3. Affidavit and Arrest warrant out of the Cranston Police Department for Domestic Simple assault. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Park East Drive in the City of Woonsocket. Subject was transported to Headquarters for processing and was transported to 6th District Court.
At 10:27 am Troopers arrested Wilson Martes, age: 27 of 512 Public Street, Providence for a 3rd District Court warrant for failure to appear for payment review for driving with a suspended license originally charged by the Cranston Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Park East Drive in the City of Woonsocket. Subject was transported to Headquarters for processing and was transported to 3rd District Court.\
At 11:00 am Troopers arrested William Robinson, , age 24, of 364 Curtis Corner Road, South Kingstown, RI for a 4th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a No License charge out of the Narragansett Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street in the City of Providence. Robinson was transported to Headquarters for processing, and was transported to 6th District Court.
At 12:15 pm Troopers arrested Eliyahu Vaknin, age 26, of 15 Dennison Street, Providence for a 6th District Court Bench warrant on a charge of Operating on a Suspended License originating out of the North Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Glenbridge Avenue in Providence. Subject was transported to Headquarters, processed, and then transported to 6th District Court in Providence.
At 4:30 AM, Troopers arrested Ricardo Pena, age 18, of 62 Nolan Street, Providence for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant on a Juvenile Escapee charge originating out of State Police Headquarters (12RIX1-96-WA). The arrest was the result of Pena being taken into custody by Providence PD on an Affidavit Arrest warrant prepared by Detective Doyle. Pena was transported back to the Communities for People House, located at 380 Hope Street, Providence, Rhode Island.
