Providence, RI - As part of his continued and sustained efforts to address Rhode Island's municipal challenges and provide property tax relief to Rhode Islanders, Governor Lincoln D. Chafee today launched two new ways for citizens to send him questions, ideas, and suggestions regarding the challenges facing the state's cities and towns. Building on the Governor's "Ideas Forum," which has been collecting ideas from Rhode Islanders since Governor Chafee took office, the new "Municipal Solutions Forum" can be accessed on the Governor's website (www.governor.ri.gov). Public input can also be submitted by email to (local.solutions@governor.ri.gov).
Governor Chafee is committed to working with Rhode Islanders to create lasting solutions that will help cities and towns better serve residents and provide relief to the property taxpayer.
