The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment yesterday charging Curtis Rogers with seven counts of second degree child molestation, two counts of indecent solicitation of a minor, eight counts of third degree sexual assault, three counts of first degree sexual assault, two counts of first degree child molestation, and two counts of second degree sexual assault. The Grand Jury also reported out an indictment charging Crystal Rogers with six counts of third degree sexual assault.
It is alleged that on multiple dates from November 2007 through June 2011, Curtis Rogers molested several individuals under the age of 14 years and sexually assaulted several individuals under the age of 16 years. It is further alleged that Roger’s wife Crystal sexually assaulted multiple individuals under the age of 16 years. The alleged events occurred in Providence, Pawtucket, Cumberland, Scituate, East Providence and West Greenwich.
The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Curtis and Crystal Rogers are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on November 9, 2011. Curtis Rogers has been held without bail since his arrest in June. Crystal Rogers was released on $25,000 personal recognizance.
