The Kent County Grand Jury today reported out an indictment charging Johnmar Roman with two counts of first degree robbery, one count of conspiracy, one count of assault with intent to commit robbery, and one count of possession of marijuana. It is alleged that on or about August 16, 2011, Roman and two unindicted juvenile co-conspirators conspired to commit robbery. It is further alleged that Roman robbed two individuals and assaulted a third individual with the intent to rob him. When apprehended by police, it is alleged that Roman was in possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.
The alleged events took place in Warwick and the Warwick Police conducted the investigation. Roman is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on November 4, 2011. He is currently being held without bail.
