The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Kyrell Smith with two counts of first degree robbery, conspiracy, possession of a stolen vehicle, and driving a motor vehicle without a license.
It is alleged that on or about May 30, 2011, Smith and an unnamed co-conspirator robbed an individual in Providence. It is further alleged that on or about June 10, 2011, Smith robbed another individual and stole the victim’s 2001 Nissan Altima. Smith drove the Altima without a valid license to operate a motor vehicle.
The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Smith is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on October 19, 2011. He has been held without bail since the time of his arrest in July.
Joao Vieira, DOB: 2/9/43

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Joao Vieira with two counts of first degree child molestation and two counts of second degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on or about June 29, 2011, Vieira molested a person 14 years or under, with the molestation being in the first and second degree.
The Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. Vieira is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on October 19, 2011. He is being held without bail and a no contact order was ordered.
