Providence, R.I. – Governor Lincoln D. Chafee will travel to New York Monday to participate in a panel discussion on education featuring Governors from across the country. The event is part of NBC News’ Education Nation, an initiative designed to engage the country in a solutions-focused conversation about the state of education in America. The State of Education: The Governors’ Perspective will be moderated by Brian Williams and will focus on education and economic competitiveness, covering a myriad of major issues facing state leadership.
