The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Amaury Rodriguez and Robert Martin each with four counts of first degree robbery, two counts of simple assault, and conspiracy.
It is alleged that on or about May 8, 20911, Rodriguez, Martin, and two unnamed co-conspirators robbed multiple individuals, with the robbery being in the first degree. It is also alleged that Rodriguez, Martin, and two unnamed co-conspirators assaulted two individuals. The alleged events took place in Providence.
The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Rodriguez and Martin will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on August 31, 2011. Both are currently being held without bail.
