Providence, RI – Governor Lincoln D. Chafee announces the following staff assignments.
Christine Hunsinger, who had served as Director of Legislative Affairs, will be the Director of Communications.
Michael F. Trainor, who had served as Director of Communications and Press Secretary, has been assigned from the Governor’s Office to an open position in the communications department at the Office of Higher Education. He will assist with strategic planning, design, and implementation as part of an ongoing overall restructuring of the Office.
Brian M. Daniels, previously Director of Policy, will become Director of Policy & Legislative Affairs.
“I have a great staff that has been a tremendous asset in my first months in office,” Governor Chafee said. “We are currently redeploying staff members in order to continue to maintain a lean, flexible staff that is able to serve the people of Rhode Island effectively and with increasing efficiency.”
