The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) will close a section of Water Street in Pawtucket tonight as part of the ongoing construction for the new Pawtucket River Bridge.
This section of Water Street, located between Main Street and Division Street, will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the installation of new concrete beams for the new School Street off-ramp bridge.
The following signed detour route will be used:
• Follow Main Street to Walcott Street and turn right
• Turn right onto Summit Street
• Turn right onto Division Street
