The Providence County Grand Jury today handed up an indictment charging Katie Davis with two counts of first degree robbery, one count of second degree robbery, two counts of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, and one count of possession of a stolen vehicle. It is alleged that on or about March 9, 2011, Davis used a firearm while robbing an individual. It is also alleged that on or about March 21, 2011, Davis robbed an individual, with said robbery being in the second degree. It is further alleged that on or about March 25, 2011, Davis used a firearm while robbing an individual. It is also alleged on or about the same day, Davis was in possession of a stolen vehicle. The alleged incidents all took place in Woonsocket. The Woonsocket Police conducted the investigation. Davis has been held without bail since March 29, 2011. Davis will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on June 1, 2011.

The Providence County Grand Jury today handed up an indictment charging Stephen Wehgbay with three counts of first degree robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and assault with intent to rob. It is alleged that on or about October 29, 2010, Wehgbay conspired with previously indicted Dante Gomes (P1/11-0310A) and an unindicted juvenile male to commit robbery. It is also alleged that on or about October 29, 2010 Wehgbay robbed three individuals, with said robbery being in the first degree, and assaulted an individual with intent to rob him. The alleged incidents took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Bail was set at $40,000 with surety. He will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on June 1, 2011.

The Providence County Grand Jury today handed up an indictment charging Jomar Rodriguez with one count of first degree child molestation, one count of second degree child molestation, and one count of simple assault. It is alleged that on or about December 8, 2010, Rodriguez molested a person fourteen years or younger. It is also alleged that on December 8, 2010 Rodriguez did commit an act of simple assault. Rodriquez, 17, was waived out of Family Court on January 14, 2011. The alleged incidents took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Bail was set at $20,000 with surety. Rodriguez will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on June 15, 2011.

The Johnston Police conducted the investigation. Aguiar is currently being held without bail. He will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on June 15, 2011.

The Providence County Grand Jury today handed up an indictment charging Jason Nickerson with four counts of first degree sexual assault, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, and one count of second degree robbery. It is alleged that on or about the dates between June 30, 2007, and July 1, 2007, Nickerson did sexually assault an individual multiple times. It is also alleged that on or about the dates of June 30, 2007, and July 1, 2007, Nickerson did rob and assault an individual with a dangerous weapon. The alleged events took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. At the time of the Grand Jury indictment, Nickerson was, and is currently, incarcerated for another crime. He will be arraigned on the new charges in Providence County Superior Court on June 15, 2011.
