Cranston, RI – Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Administrator Lisa Holley announced today that effective Monday, May 2, 2011, a temporary Middletown branch office of the DMV will open at 999 West Main Road, Middletown. This temporary location will remain open until a permanent site is secured. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Road Exams will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All previous scheduled road exams for Middletown will be honored on the same day and at the same time.
Cranston and all other DMV branches will continue to operate with existing hours. Hours of operations at the DMV facilities will be as follows:
*Cranston 600 New London Avenue Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:15 pm
*Wakefield Stedman Government Center Tower Hill Road Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
*Warren 1 Joyce Street Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
*Woonsocket 217 Pond Street (Dept. of Labor and Training Building) Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
