The RI DMV, all DMV branch offices, and all AAA branches will not be able to process any of the following transactions during the specified time:
· Driver licenses, permits, renewals, duplicates, updates
· CDL licenses, endorsements, renewals, duplicates, updates
· State-issued IDs, duplicates, renewals, updates
· Reinstatements of suspended licenses (Operator Control)
· Any driver or CDL permit written testing or endorsements
The system upgrade will not impact road tests that have been scheduled at the DMV’s Melrose Street facility (325 Melrose St., Providence 02907). All road testing scheduled for Monday, February 21, will be done from the Melrose Street facility.
