PROVIDENCE—Family Service of RI has partnered with the RI Department of Labor and Training's Business Workforce Center to fill 30 positions. A recruitment fair will be held at their headquarters, 134 Thurbers Ave., Providence on Wednesday, February 9, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The non-profit human service agency is seeking clinicians/family counselors, fee-for-service clinicians, a psychiatric nurse, a director of intake and emergency services, case managers, a speech language pathologist, a physical therapist, a registered nurse, a residential manager, a residential counselor and an occupational therapist.
"Identifying and screening candidates can be a challenge, but the DLT Business Workforce Center staff has been so helpful," said Director of Human Resources Michele Stanford White. "We're looking for a variety of clinicians with unique experience to backfill a few vacancies and to fill new grant-funded positions." The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are advised that prior experience is required for all vacancies and that appropriate licensing is required for most. Attendees should be prepared for an on-site interview. It is also possible to apply online at www.familyserviceri.org/employment.asp.
