Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts met with her staff today in a review of ethical standards to ensure accountability and transparency in her second term in office.
"The first thing I did when taking office in 2007 was to obtain a full briefing for my staff on the requirements of the Ethics Code. I’m renewing that commitment today by joining Governor Chafee’s initiative to ensure the highest ethical standards and professional conduct. My staff have signed on to this important Code of Conduct, and have given me their personal commitment to continue serving constituents with the honesty, respect, courtesy and responsiveness that the Governor is expecting from us all," said Roberts.
