Global Medicaid Waiver, comprising one-third of the state budget, determines health care coverage for low income Rhode Islanders and Rhode Islanders with disabilities
Lt. Gov. Elizabeth H. Roberts will convene the Long Term Care Coordinating Council on Wednesday, October 13th at 10:00 am at Home and Hospice Care of R.I., 1085 North Main Street, Providence, to review reports from the Department of Human Services regarding the status of Rhode Island's Medicaid Waiver and implementation efforts.
Medicaid (health care for low income Rhode Islanders and Rhode Islanders with disabilities) represents a third of the state budget. The state's Global Medicaid Waiver is entering its second year of implementation.
