Corrections Director Ashbel T. Wall II has announced the promotion of Gary Moe of Cumberland, a 13-year veteran of the Department, to Correctional Officer Lieutenant, effective Easter Sunday.
Lieutenant Moe is assigned to the Intake Service Center, which processes over 18,000 commitments per year and is the largest male facility on the prison complex. Moe is Commander of the Correctional Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.). He has also worked at High Security, the Women’s Division, and the Donald Price Medium Security Facility. He is a graduate of St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, RI.
