At 12:10 PM, Trooper arrested Luis Aracena Battle, age 30, of 1039 Broad Street, Providence, Rhode Island for an active Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the charge of Driving with Expired License or Without License out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Smithfield. Battle was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and transported to Kent County Superior Court.
At 12:15 PM, Troopers arrested Bryant Troche, age 28, of 6 Huber Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for Domestic Violence - Violation of No Contact Order – 1st Offense. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Cumberland. Troche was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, later transported to the ACI – Men's Intake where he was held pending morning arraignment at Third District Court as a Bail Violator.
