On Monday April 14, 2025, at 10:16 AM, Troopers arrested Jayson Esposito, age 40, of 2 Terino Drive, North Providence, RI, for 1.) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of 1st Degree Sexual Assault out of the North Providence Police Department, 2.) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of 1st Degree Robbery out of the Providence Police Department, 3.) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre Arraignment Conference on the original charge of Sexual Offender - Failure to Notify of Change in Address out of the Johnston Police Department, 4.) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of 1st Degree Sexual Assault out of the Providence Police Department, 5.) Active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Cranston Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex offender, 6.) Active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Newport Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex offender, and 7.) Active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Pawtucket Police Department for Sex Offender Registration Violation. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a homeless encampment in the City of Providence. Esposito was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later transported to Providence Superior Court for arraignment.
