Wickford Barracks

ARREST: 25RIK2-53-AR LOCATION: WARWICK

At 9:39 PM, Troopers arrested Nicholas Vinacco, age 39, of 369 Jennifer Lane Apartment 0285, North Dighton, Massachusetts, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: .174% and Phase II: .174%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Mr. Vinacco was transported to the BAT Mobile, where he was processed, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

ARREST: 25RIK2-54-AR LOCATION: WARWICK

At 12:50 AM, Troopers arrested Charles Thompson, age 27, of 12 Waltham Street, Bristol, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Mr. Thompson was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

ARREST: 25RIK2-55-AR LOCATION: CRANSTON

At 1:15 AM, Troopers arrested Jeiner Mendez, age 57, of 6 Lee Ann Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Cranston. Mr. Mendez was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

ARREST: 25RIK2-56-AR LOCATION: NORTH KINGSTOWN

At 1:16 AM, Troopers arrested Jerome Johnson, age 40, of 24 Kennedy Road, Newport, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of the barracks receiving a phone call from The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority for a disabled motor vehicle on Route 138 East in the Town of North Kingstown. Mr. Johnson was subsequently taken into custody, then transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
