On Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at 12:20 AM, Troopers arrested Sitha Krem, age 40, of 68 Park View Boulevard, Cranston, Rhode Island for an active Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V, originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the ACI – Men's Intake Facility.
On Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at 2:00 AM, Troopers arrested Carmelo Jaquez, age 51, of 170 Camp Street, Apartment #3, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Rhode Island State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, and held overnight Pending Arraignment.
