At 8:59 AM, Troopers arrested Terrell Cardoza, age 19, of 767 Independence Drive, Hyannis, Massachusetts for Possession of Marijuana – Over Two Ounces. The arrest was the result of Troopers assisting Massachusetts State Police and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. Cardoza was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 1:00 PM, Troopers arrested Cordero Jeremy, age 27, of 64 Adelaide Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for and Affidavit and Arrest warrant for Throwing Articles at Moving Vehicles originating out of the State Police-Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation by Troopers and the subject turning himself in. The subject was processed and transported to Sixth Division Court for afternoon arraignment.
At 2:23 PM, Troopers arrested Nelson Furtado, age 49, of 292 Logee Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Leaving the Scene of an Accident-Damage to Attended Vehicle, and 2.) Driving without Consent of Owner, and 3.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation and Troopers locating the suspect on Hill Farm Lane in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned as a violator and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Center.
At 5:20 PM, Troopers arrested Angel Acosta Upia, age 23, of 68 Hathaway Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving with a Suspended License- 4th + Offense, and 2.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation and subsequent arrest. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future Sixth Division Court arraignment date.
At 10:37 PM, Troopers arrested George Bushromero, age 36, of 260 Lonsdale Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for Possession of a Schedule I – V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Cocaine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Street in the City of Pawtucket. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
At 2:20 AM, Troopers arrested Anthony Zambarano, age 26, of 346 Fruit Hill Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 – .15. ( Phase I: .117% & Phase II: .112%).The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released pending a future Sixth Division District Court date.
