On January 16, 2025, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Beth Kores, age 59, of 17 River View Drive, Richmond, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Violation of No Contact Order – 2nd offense. Ms. Kores was arraigned in Third Division District Court and granted $1,000 surety bail.
On January 16, 2025, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Khalil Ba, age 22, of 91 Holman Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Ba was arraigned in Third Division Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Ba was ordered held at the ACI pending his return to Massachusetts.
On January 16, 2025, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Tyler Whitford, age 32, of 349 Beech Street, Manchester, New Hampshire, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Pennsylvania. Mr. Whitford was arraigned in Third Division Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Whitford was ordered held at the ACI pending his return to Pennsylvania.
On January 16, 2025, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Scott Troia, age 32, of 6 Brookwood Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island, for Possession of Child Pornography. Mr. Troia was processed at State Police Headquarters and transported to Third District Court for arraignment. The Honorable Associate Judge O'Neill set bail at $10,000 personal recognizance with special bail conditions of restricted Internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors.
On January 16, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Eliseo J Harris, age 41, of 27 Zanfagna Street, Apt 2, Johnston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Cranston Police Department for Felony Shoplifting, Conspiracy, and Willful Trespass. Mr. Harris was taken into custody without incident, processed and turned over to the Cranston Police Department.
On January 16, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Greg Anthony, age 42, of 494 Plainfield Street 2nd Flr, Providence Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Cranston Police Department for Felony Shoplifting, Habitual Shoplifting and Trespassing; 2) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Warwick Police Department for Felony Shoplifting and Habitual Shoplifting; 3) Fugitive from Justice Warrant drafted by the Seekonk Massachusetts Police Department for Larceny over $1200.00; 4) Fugitive from Justice Warrant drafted by the Attleboro Massachusetts Police Department for Felony Larceny; 5) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on an original charge of Simple Assault; 6) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on an original charge of Shoplifting/Grand Theft; 7) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on an original charge of Felony Shoplifting (Use of Implement); 8) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on an original charge of Shoplifting/Grand Theft; and 9) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on an original charge of Shoplifting/Grand Theft (2nd Offense). Mr. Anthony was taken into custody without incident, processed and turned over to the custody of the Cranston Police Department.
On January 16, 2025, members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Lavell Poston, age 30, of 320 South Road Apt B, East Greenwich, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Robbery, Armed & Masked, originating out of the Attleboro Massachusetts Police Department. Mr. Poston was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
